MD POX 5 minutes epoxy adhesive (MR 1:1), 25 + 50 g

MD POX 5-Minute Epoxy Adhesive is a highly reactive two-component adhesive with high final strength after curing. It is suitable for bonding metals, ceramics, glass, stone and many rigid plastics. Ideal for fast and durable repairs with minimal effort.

Application

The bonding surfaces must be clean, dry and free from oil and grease. For optimum adhesion, light mechanical roughening of the surfaces is recommended. The reaction time is reduced at higher temperatures. Do not apply below +5 °C.

25 g Dual Syringe – Manual Application Without Dispensing Gun

The 25 g dual syringe is designed for manual application. No dispensing gun is required. The required amount of adhesive is dispensed by pressing the plunger. Resin and hardener are automatically dosed in the 1:1 mixing ratio and are discharged as two uniform material beads.

The two components must then be mixed thoroughly on a mixing surface or in a mixing container. Apply the mixed adhesive to one or both bonding surfaces. Join the parts and fix them in place until handling strength is reached.

Practical tip: After dispensing, pull the plunger back slightly. This reduces material run-on after dosing.

The 25 g dual syringe can also be used with a suitable static mixer. Attach the static mixer and dispense the adhesive by pressing the plunger. Resin and hardener are automatically mixed inside the static mixer and can be applied directly.

At low temperatures, the viscosity of the material increases. This can make dispensing more difficult. Application at room temperature is recommended.

After use, material remains inside the static mixer and cures there. The used static mixer must be replaced with a new one before the next application.

50 g Dual Cartridge – Application With Dispensing Gun and Static Mixer

A suitable dispensing gun and static mixer are required for processing the 50 g dual cartridge. After removing the closure cap, attach the static mixer and tighten it securely. During dispensing, resin and hardener are automatically mixed in the static mixer at a ratio of 1:1.

The first approx. 2 g of material should be discarded, as complete mixing may not yet be ensured in this initial quantity. Then apply the mixed adhesive directly to the bonding surfaces, join the parts and fix them in place.

After application, residual material remains in the static mixer and cures there. The static mixer can remain on the cartridge until the next application and also serves as a closure.
